This Privacy Policy explains how Oval AI ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information.
By using the App, you agree to this Policy. We comply with applicable privacy laws, including GDPR and CCPA.
When you take or upload a selfie, it is processed locally on your device and sent to our AI provider to generate your skin analysis.
Selfies and facial crop images may be transmitted to Google Gemini (Google LLC) to perform the analysis.
We do not sell or share your photos for advertising. Photos are used solely for the purpose of generating your skin analysis report.

This data is stored in a local database on your device only and is not uploaded to our servers.
We collect responses you provide during onboarding, including age range, skin concerns, botox experience, and satisfaction with your skin. This data is stored locally and used solely to personalise your analysis.
We may collect device model, OS version, app version, crash logs, and anonymous performance analytics.
If the App offers in-app purchases or subscriptions, Apple handles all payment processing. We may receive purchase status, subscription status, and an anonymous user ID. We do not receive your credit card information.
We use your data to perform AI-powered skin analysis, display personalised results and history, generate cosmetic advisory reports, detect misuse, and provide customer support.
We do not sell personal data, use your photos for advertising, or use your facial images to train general-purpose AI models.
To provide AI-powered skin analysis, Oval AI transmits certain user data to Google Gemini (Google LLC).
Data transmitted: Your selfie and facial crop images (forehead, glabella, crow's feet), and your age range and skin satisfaction survey response.
Purpose: Sent solely to analyse your skin appearance and return structured cosmetic guidance scores.
Retention: Images and prompts are processed in real-time. Google Gemini does not retain your images after the request is complete, per Google's API data usage policies.
Consent: Before any personal data is transmitted, the App requests your explicit consent. You may decline, in which case no data is sent and analysis features are unavailable.

The App requires a selfie to perform skin analysis. We do not perform facial recognition or collect biometric identifiers for identity purposes. No facial identification is performed. Face data is not retained on our servers, not linked to any identity profile, and not shared beyond processing your specific analysis request.
Images are stored locally on your device only after analysis. You may delete them at any time.
All analysis results, photos, and survey data are stored locally on your device using an on-device database. We do not upload your analysis history to cloud servers.
You may delete individual analyses from the History screen. To delete all app data, uninstall the App.
For additional data deletion requests, contact us at genue.luben@gmail.com. We will process requests within 30–72 hours.
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will remove it promptly.
All data is stored locally on your device. Data transmitted to Google Gemini is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
Data transmitted to Google Gemini may be processed in regions outside your country, including the United States. By using the App, you consent to such processing.
We may update this Policy occasionally. Material changes will be posted in the App or via an updated link.
